Cruzan Hurricane Proof 137 Proof Rum

With winds of at least 137 knots, the Category 5 hurricane is unrelenting. In September 2017, Hurricane Maria ripped through the US Virgin Islands, causing severe damage to homes, communication networks, and the power grid. On Cruzan?s home of St. Croix, neighbors came together to help each other and renew their island, inspiring Cruzan Rum to amplify and sustain this ?Island Spirit?. Bottled at 137 proof, Cruzan Hurricane Proof rum pays tribute to the resilient spirit that allows communities to stand strong in the face of disaster ? a bold reminder that together we can weather any storm. Following the devastating 2017 Atlantic Hurricane season, Cruzan Rum established the Island Spirit Fund to ensure no community weathers a storm alone. A portion of proceeds from every bottle of Cruzan Hurricane Proof Rum supports disaster recovery efforts in the US Virgin Islands and across the United States.
